Great for families

The Farmhouse location was perfect for downtown restaurants, coffee and shops. The beach was a drive only location. Oval Beach was nice but $15/car is a bit pricey. The rooms in the farmhouse were big and the kitchen was just right for feeding a crowd. Hot tub was enjoyable! A neighbor was a little loud one night, but a quick call to Quaint Cottages and it was resolved immediately. We were very happy with their services and communication.

Tidy, clean, small place. Our family of five(three kids 8 and under) enjoyed the hot tub and common area in the front. My only complaint was with the washer/dryer. It gave me a few error messages and took several cycles to dry our clothes because the sensor sensed them as dry when they were very damp. I’m sure there’s a work-around, I just didn’t want to mess with it! There was also some road/power line construction that made the initial way in confusing due to road closures. Overall we had a nice time and would recommend the place based on location and ease of travel to downtown Saugatuck and Oval Beach.

Great Place to Star for a Couple

We loved the location of this rental. Yes, the arrangement off the rooms is a bit different but it was easily workable for us. The room arrangement would not deter us from renting again. Very clean and everything we needed was provided. Will definitely return.

Feedback for the timber nest

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Loved the cabin feel and fire pit across the way! However, for the price and other reviews, we were disappointed in cleanliness and functionality. Many bugs gathered in master light ceiling fan, toilet brushes were very dirty. Rugs all need to be cleaned! There is not a great smell throughout house - because it’s dirty. The wash machine broke 3 of our tank top straps! The kitchen works but the faucet is very faulty. Pots and pans were old and not very clean. Dirty spatula. No salt and pepper. This place needs attention to detail and an overhaul of equipment. Needs a deep deep clean. Oh yeah, the door to master does not shut easily. Hope this helps for improvement.

Cute & comfy little motel

The grounds and our room was clean, comfortable, and accommodated our needs well. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub and chatted with other guests. I'm adding this little motel to my list of recommendations for the Saugatuck area!
