Swingbridge 40 -Perfect Summer Stay

We loved our stay in Saugatuck/Douglas at Swingbridge 40. It has so much room for a mid-sized party. It’s perfectly located close to food, shopping, and the beach locations. The view is spectacular. This was our 7th summer in this rental, and it has never disappointed. It is always incredibly clean and inviting! Thank you for the stay!

Great place to stay.

We loved staying here. It was quiet and clean. The new hot tub was clean and warm and gorgeous. We loved being away from the business of Saugatuck. Easy to find breakfast close by.

Roomy & Comfortable

Thank you for a clean, comfortable home to stay in. The proximity to everything was very convenient. *would love some non stick pans. Kitchen well stocked otherwise.

Great location

Overall the Lucky Lucy was well maintained and very clean. Within a ten minute walking distance from downtown shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops. The resident was fully stocked to be functional kitchen and bathroom (minus the food of course). Was able to make a grocery run and prepare everything without issue.

Tidy, clean, small place. Our family of five(three kids 8 and under) enjoyed the hot tub and common area in the front. My only complaint was with the washer/dryer. It gave me a few error messages and took several cycles to dry our clothes because the sensor sensed them as dry when they were very damp. I’m sure there’s a work-around, I just didn’t want to mess with it! There was also some road/power line construction that made the initial way in confusing due to road closures. Overall we had a nice time and would recommend the place based on location and ease of travel to downtown Saugatuck and Oval Beach.

Lay By The Bay

We came with 8 people for a family vacation. Everything was amazing! The house was very well equipped (including the kitchen), super clean, and had the perfect layout for a family with kids. We had never been to Saugatuck before, and we absolutely loved it. The location of the house and walkability to town was great. The communication regarding check in and check out procedures from the rental company was timely, clear, and easy to follow. Can't say enough good things about Lay By The Bay. We would love to return and stay again!
