Chalet on the lake is the perfect spot to spend your summers with family and friends. Whether is is a small group or a large family reunion the Chalet on the lake is the perfect spot. The resort is spread on 36 acres directly on lake Michigan with private beach, fishing pond, 2 swimming pools, wading pool for kids, shuffleboard, basketball, horseshoes, tennis. The Chalet on the lake has everything. Each Chalet is outfitted with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and can accommodate up to 6 guests. There are two units in each Chalet so as each unit sleeps 6, each Chalet sleeps 12. The Chalets are clustered together and have pools, playgrounds throughout so the kids can enjoy endless hours of fun outdoors. Chalet on the lake is located in Stevensville, Michigan on Lake Michigan with plenty of activities in town. Spend the day charter fishing or playing golf at Harbor Shores golf course which is home to the senior PGA golf tournament. Chalet on the lake is perfect for anytime of the year. Come, relax, and enjoy everything that Pure Michigan has to offer!
This fabulous Chalet has a patio door that opens to a large deck overlooking Lake Michigan.
This chalet has 2 bedrooms each with an AC. The main floor bathroom has a shower.
Unfortunately due to the nature of the resort and the association by-laws it is not possible for guests to bring their pets.
All our vacation rentals have wifi.
No, we do not provide housekeeping services during your stay. You do, however, have the option of scheduling and paying for an extra cleaning during your stay if you will be in town a while and would like kitchens and bathrooms spiffed up.
The Answer is YES. You will be given the first opportunity to book the same Chalet the same time frame as long as the Chalet owner continues to rent and does not block it for their personal use. The process is as follows:
- Early in the month of December you will get an email notification to go to our website, find your Chalet, and put in a booking Request for the same Chalet for the same timeframe as the previous year. It is important that it is booked under the same name as the previous year or the last name at least referenced in the request. We will not know pricing or availability until after December 1 each year. (Please note that a week stay may be required and if you did not stay a week it will be first come first serve for guests in that timeframe to book the week stay)
- Your booking request will be reviewed and approved.
- Once your request is approved you will get an email notification to put your deposit of 25% down. Once your deposit is made then your reservation for that Chalet is CONFIRMED. You will have the month of December to make the deposit. You will have the month of January to move your reservation to another Chalet or to different dates should another Chalet be available. You will also have the month of January to cancel penalty free if needed. After Feb.1 then all cancellation policies apply.
- You will then get an email notification 60 days prior to your reservation to pay the remainder of your reservation. You will also receive arrival instructions prior to your stay.
- If you stayed at the Chalets and do not receive an email by mid December then you should contact us via email at chaletsonthelake@gmail.com.
- If your Chalet is not available you will have to wait until January 2 to see which other Chalets are available and can book one at that time along with the general public.
- If you would like a different Chalet or want different dates then you will have to wait until January 2 to see what is available and to book. January 2 is when the Chalets open up for the general public.
